Five killed in southwest Pakistan

The incident took place at Noshki, 160 km west of provincial capital Quetta, where the labourers were building a mosque.

Islamabad: Five labourers engaged in
construction of a mosque were shot dead by unidentified gunmen
in southwest Pakistan`s restive Balochistan province on Saturday,
officials said.

mosque.

The gunmen, who were riding a motorbike, escaped after
the attack, an official of the local militia said, adding all
five labourers died instantly.

A search operation has been launched in the area to trace
the killers.
