Flash flood sweeps away car killing 7 people in Pak

Flash floods swept away a car in a remote corner of northwestern Pakistan, killing seven people, including six children, newspapers reported on Tuesday.

Another three people who were injured in the accident on Monday near Attock, 90 km northwest of the capital islamabad were aged between 3 to 11 years, while the seventh victim was a female army doctor.

Relentless monsoon rains have battered much of Pakistan in recent weeks causing flash floods in many areas.
