Former tribal senator injured in IED blast in Pakistan

 A former tribal senator was today injured when a roadside improvised explosive device hit his car in a restive tribal region in northwestern Pakistan. The incident occurred in Ghalanai, administrative headquarters in Mohmand Agency.

Former Senator Malik Abdul Wahid was on his way when the improvised explosives device hit his car injuring him.

He was taken to Ghalani Headquarters Hospital for treatment.?Security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
