Four Indians arrested for drugs in Nepal

Four Indians and one French national were among 11 people arrested in Nepal for possessing contraband drugs and illegal arms.

national were among 11 people arrested in Nepal for possessing
contraband drugs and illegal arms.

Baliram Thakur, Krishna Yadav, 30, Subhas Kumar
Srivastab, 32, and Raj Kumar Patel, 22 all from Bihar were
arrested by the Anti-narcotic Drug Unit of Nepal Police.

French national Mohmad H Bouterbali, 33, was arreted
while trying to board on Doha bound Qatar Airways airlines
flight at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Three Nepalese nationals were also arrested in
connection with the drugs trafficking, the police said.

The Nepalese nationals who were arrested include
Sanjaya Thakuri, Dhimi Ghale and Jayaraj Tamang.

They have seized 6 kg of hashish from the French
national. The police have also recovered 150 gram brown heroin
from the Indian and Nepalese nationals during a raid.

The police also arrested three Nepalese nationals in
connection with possessing seven Italy made pistols and one
small arms.
