Kathmandu: An official says a landslide has
buried workers building a canal in a mountain village in west
Nepal, killing at least four people and leaving several people
missing.
Chief Government Administrator of Baglung district Khem
Bahadur Thapa said villagers rescued nine injured workers from
the landslide and also pulled out four bodies.
Thapa says villagers believe up to about 10 people might
be missing.
Rase village, located about 160 kilometres west of
Katmandu, is only accessible on foot.
Officials sent a team of police and army rescuers to the
village.
