Gilani urges Pak expatriates to improve country`s image
Pak PM apprised the citizens of the efforts made by government for their well-being.
Paris: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has urged Pakistani expatriates to act as ambassadors to improve the country`s image abroad.
Gilani was speaking at a reception hosted by Pakistan`s Ambassador to France, Shafkat Saeed, at the Pakistan embassy, The Nation reports.
He asked the people employed at the embassy about the problems faced by them and assured them of the government`s support to redress their issues.
Gilani apprised the citizens of the efforts made by government for their well- being. He pointed out that the government has facilitated the expatriates to get Pakistan passports and computerised national identity cards.
He also highlighted numerous achievements of the government, including 18th Amendment, self-autonomy for Gilgit-Baltistan and constitutional reforms.
