I'd raid Pak again if militant found: Obama

I`d raid Pak again if militant found: Obama London: President Barack Obama would approve a new incursion into Pakistan if the United States found another leading militant there, he said in a BBC interview broadcast on Sunday.

US Navy SEALs killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, mastermind of the September 11 attacks on US cities in 2001, in a raid on his fortified compound in Pakistan on May 2, ending a manhunt for the world's most-wanted militant.

Asked if Obama would do the same again if the United States discovered another "high-value target" in Pakistan or another country, such as a senior al Qaeda member or Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar, he said he would "take the shot."

"We are very respectful of the sovereignty of Pakistan. But we cannot allow someone who is actively planning to kill our people or our allies' people, we can't allow those kind of active plans to come to fruition without us taking some action," Obama told the BBC.

"I had made no secret. I had said this when I was running for the presidency, that if I had a clear shot at bin Laden, that we'd take it."

A spokesman for Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari, Farhatullah Babar, said in response to Obama's remarks: "We need to move away from unilateral actions and should focus on cooperation in countering terrorism." He declined to comment further.

Obama's comments echoed those of U.S. Senator John Kerry, a Democrat close to his administration and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Asked this month if the United States would conduct a similar raid in Pakistan to kill Omar if they knew his whereabouts, he said Washington would consider all its options.

US officials have long maintained Omar fled to Pakistan after the Taliban government was overthrown in late 2001 by US backed Afghan forces and is still in hiding there. Islamabad has denied reports he is in Pakistan.

Obama arrives in Britain on Tuesday for a three-day state visit -- the first state visit by a U.S. president since 2003.

He will hold talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron and address the parliament to hail the two countries' special relationship and stress the importance of transatlantic ties.

Jayesh - USA
Pakistan says why US did not take prior permission to kill Bin Laden so that -

1. It could have Bin Laden moved to safer place
2. It could have planted Bin Laden`s duplicate
3. It could have blasted the whole compound and declared that all inside are killed though all would have been removed from compound.
4. It could have asked the proof from US (just they are asking for 26/11 culprits) about Bin Laden is there like his movie in compound, his fingerprints, his passport entry records etc.

Reasons – Why Osama Bin Laden got killed!
1. Manmohan Singh is not President of US.
2. Barack Obama doesn’t take permission from Sonia Ji.
3. He was not hiding in India. Our system is unable to find a Chief Minister in own country, can you expect them to find Osama?
4. He didn’t surrender himself to Indian government. This Government is not able to give death sentence to already arrested and proven guilty Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru after years. Osama could have spent a lifetime here.
5. CBI was not in charge of investigation and operation. They are busy in saving Kalmadi and Raja.
6. Amar Singh didn’t leak the tape of Obama’s phone.
7. In Pakistan, no human right activist and journalist came to save him.
8. He didn’t meet Ekta Kapoor. She could have given him tips to be alive again.
9. He didn’t request Rajnikant to save him.
10. Last but not the least. He trusted Pakistan.

Pakistan has no right of sovereignty when it is harbouring terrorists. What Obama wants to do is correct and justified. In fact Obama must eliminate Pakistan`s nuclear status militarily or by any means. Pakistan can be wiped out by the US, China despite all the euphoria is a non-factor.
