New Delhi: Noted author and columnist Taslima Nasreen on Wednesday condemned the killings by extremists in Bangladesh, stating those who do not conform with their ideology are usually killed.

Nasreen, who is quite vocal about her criticism for bigotry and extremism, took to Twitter and wrote, “If you are atheist, rationalist, secularist, humanist, freethinker, progressive, Hindu, Shia, Ahmadiyy, Christian or Buddhist then you will be killed in Bangladesh.”

Julhash Mannan, the editor of 'Roopban' - the only magazine in Bangladesh advocating gay rights - and his friend Tanay Fahim were killed on Monday by armed assailants who entered the flat impersonating as courier company officials, police said.

In the past, several secular bloggers were also murdered in the country by fanatics groups.
