Insurgents kill over 10 Afghan civilians: NATO

The civilians were killed when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Helmand.

Kabul: More than 10 Afghan civilians were killed on Thursday when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the country`s southern Helmand province, authorities and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said.
Several more civilians were wounded in the incident in Nahr-e Saraj district, ISAF said.
Violence is at its worst in Afghanistan since US-backed Afghan troops ousted the Taliban in 2001, with record deaths on all sides of the near-decade long conflict.
