Islamabad: A senior leader of the Jamiat
Ulema-e-Pakistan was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in
Quetta city in the country`s southwest on Saturday.
The gunmen barged into the home of Maulana Mohammad Qasim
at Sariab Road in Quetta this afternoon and opened fire at
him, police said.
Qasim was hit by several bullets and died while being
taken to hospital, police officials said.
The attackers managed to escape.
