Islamabad: Jamaat-ud-Dawah activists have
prevented the holding of a promotion event organised by a
leading multinational company for its shaving razors by
ransacking the venue in the Pakistani port city of Karachi.
Scores of angry members of the JuD gathered outside
the Expo Centre in Karachi, where the firm had organised the
event yesterday, and ransacked the venue.
They prevented the MNC from going ahead with the event
which was aimed at setting a world record for most people
shaving at the same time.
Just as the event was about to get underway, JuD
activists forcibly entered the Expo Centre and disrupted the
