In order to rally public support against devious
Western designs the government said that it would move mass
public agitation throughout the island on February 27, the day
the UNHRC sessions are set to begin.

Last week, the US said it would support moves against Sri
Lanka in Geneva. The Sri Lankan military last week announced
appointing a five-member panel to probe allegations of war
crimes during the last phase of its war with LTTE.
