Peshawar: Pro-Taliban militants on Monday blew up a primary girls’ school in the troubled Khyber tribal region of northwest Pakistan though there were no reports of casualties, officials said.

The state-run school in Zakakhel area of Khyber Agency was razed by the explosion early this morning.

However, no casualty was reported as the building was empty at the time of the blast.
A total of 41 schools have been destroyed by militants in Khyber Agency.
