Peshawar: Pro-Taliban militants blew up
two state-run schools in northwest Pakistan on Monday though there
were no reports of casualties, officials said.

The militants destroyed the Government Boys Schools at
Jovakai with explosive devices early this morning, the
officials said.

No one was injured in the attacks as the schools were
empty when the explosive devices went off.

The total number of schools targeted by militants in
the area has gone up to 30.
