Peshawar: Pro-Taliban militants in Pakistan today blew up two state-run schools on the outskirts of Peshawar, police said.

The Government Primary School and the Government High School at Badabher, 10 km south of Peshawar, were destroyed with explosives early this morning, local media reported. There were no reports of casualties.

Militants have destroyed five state-run schools in different areas of Peshawar this month.
