Musharraf gave orders to manhandle me: Imran Khan Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has suggested in his book titled ''Me and my Pakistan'' that foreign hands were involved in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan.

Imran's book has suggested that former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf had approved Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

He pointed out that Sharif had left the meeting of his party, All Pakistan Democratic Movement (APDM), for 40 minutes to respond to then British foreign minister's phone call, The News reports.

Imran also alleged that former Punjab chief minister Pervez Elahi gave money to a Islami Jamiat e Talaba (IJT) leader on Musharraf’s order to manhandle him (Imran) in the Punjab University.

He dedicated his book to his sons Suleman, Qasim and the Pakistani youth.
