Nepal Police arrest three in connection with robbery in India

Nepal Police have arrested three people for their involvement in a robbery at the house of a businessman in India.

three people for their involvement in a robbery at the house
of a businessman in India.

Wholesaler Vipin Prakash Mangal`s house in Ahmedabad
was robbed by five domestic helpers from Nepal when he was
away with his family a fortnight ago.
Goods and cash worth nearly Rs 4 million were stolen
from the house.

After detecting the theft the family contacted Indian
Embassy in Kathmandu.
Acting on the complaints, the Nepal Police arrested
Dev Bahadur Bharti, Yajna Bahadur Lohar and Sarki Buda and
recovered gold and cash worth Rs 1.2 million from them. Two
others are still at large.

The goods recovered from the Nepali helpers have been
handed over to the Indian Embassy, according to the Nepal
Police.
