Nepal`s PM calls for Indian investment
Khanal welcomed the new positive developments of industrial and business prospects in the state of West Bengal.
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Jalanath Khanal
on Wednesday invited Indian investments in Nepal particularly in the
hydro power and tourism sectors.
During a meeting with the visiting delegation of West
Bengal Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India
(WBNCCI), Khanal welcomed the new positive developments of
industrial and business prospects in the state of West Bengal
and hoped that it will also have a positive impact on Nepal.
The Prime Minister also assured that the political
transition in Nepal will soon conclude on a positive note and
the country will march forward on the path of rapid
The Chairman of WBNCCI, D K Jaisawal conveyed the good
wishes of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to the Prime Minister
who in turn sent his regards to the new Chief Minister of West
The delegation mentioned that West Bengal would like
to develop the entry points of Jogbani, Kakarvitta and
Pashupatinager for the sake of joint promotion of tourism
between two countries, according to Prime Minister`s foreign
affairs advisor Milan Raj Tuladhar.
