Islamabad: Pakistan will bring out a book on Arfa Karim who in 2004 became the world`s youngest Microsoft certified professional at age nine. She died Jan 14.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan Saturday said Arfa Karim was a trendsetter and role model for youth of the country.
Talking to the media in Lahore, she said Arfa had introduced a positive and beautiful image of Pakistan across the world.
She said that a documentary on Arfa Karim would be broadcast on Pakistan Television and Directorate of Film and Publishing would publish a book to pay homage to world`s youngest IT specialist, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
Arfa Karim Randhawa died following complications resulting from an epileptic stroke. She was 16.
