Kathmandu: A team of senior officials of
Nepal Army returned home today after completing a week-long
visit to India.
The team comprising seven senior officials of Nepal Army
and led by Major Gen Daman Bahadur Ghale visited different
states of the country from January 28 to February 4, according
to Nepal Army Headquarters.
During the visit, the officials got the opportunity to
study various aspects of the management system,
administration, training and welfare activities of the Indian
Army at various high formations.
The team also visited the central command and various
formation headquarters of the Indian Army in New Delhi,
Lucknow, Bareilly and Nainital.
They also called on Chief of Army Staff of the Indian
Army and Deputy Chief during the visit.
The visit was successful in strengthening mutual goodwill
and promoting bilateral cooperation between the two armies,
according to a statement released by the Nepal Army
Headquarters.
