One injured in blast in Pakistan
One person was injured when two bombs went off near as many police stations in Pakistan`s eastern Punjab province early, officials said.

two bombs went off near as many police stations in Pakistan`s
eastern Punjab province early on Saturday, officials said.
The first bomb exploded near the wall of the Sabzi
Mandi police station in Gujranwala city.
A prisoner in the lock-up was injured in the blast.
Another bomb exploded a short while later at the
People`s Colony police station in the same city though police
were able to minimise damage by placing sand bags around the
building after receiving an alert from the bomb disposal
Senior police officer Ghulam Muhammad Dogar told
reporters that 2.5 kg of explosives were used in both attacks.
He said the blasts were aimed at harassing the public.
No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Several police facilities in Gujranwala were targeted
with low-intensity bombs last month.
Four persons were injured in those attacks.
