Pak: 14 paramilitary troops killed in ambush Quetta: A spokesmen for the paramilitary Frontier Corps says gunmen ambushed one of the group's convoys in southwestern Pakistan, killing 14 soldiers.

Murtaza Baig says the three-vehicle convoy was attacked Monday as it was traveling from Chamalang to Dukhi in Baluchistan province. Ten soldiers were wounded in the attack, which occurred about 90 miles (150 kilometers) northeast of the provincial capital, Quetta.

The Baluchistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. The group's spokesman, Azad Baluch, claimed fighters killed 40 soldiers in the attack.
