`Pak-China ties to bring stability in region`

Pakistan`s interior minister said Islamabad and Beijing enjoy time-tested friendship.

Islamabad: Pakistan and China enjoy time-tested friendship and their mutual relations would bring stability in the region, Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said.

Talking to Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Liu Jian, the minister said the government was adopting special measures to ensure security of Chinese citizens working in Pakistan.

The ambassador said China attaches special attention to its ties with Pakistan, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
He said both the countries are extending every possible cooperation to each other and China wishes to further strengthen its relations with Pakistan.
