Islamabad: Two Taliban militants and a
security personnel were killed in clashes in Pakistan's
restive Mohmand tribal region bordering Afghanistan, officials
said.
A group of militants attacked a check post in Baizai
sub-division of the semi-autonomous tribal region.
One security personnel was killed and five others were
injured in the assault, officials said.
Security forces retaliated to the attack by targeting
militant positions with heavy artillery.

the shelling, officials said.
Mohmand Agency has witnessed intermittent clashes
between militants and security forces over the past few weeks.
