Pakistan interior minister has given 25,000 rupees in cash to a boy upon breaking a toy gun.

Karachi: Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has given 25,000 rupees in cash to a boy upon breaking a toy gun.

Malik paid a visit to the residence of slain Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and chairman of Peoples Unity, Aamir Shah, offered his condolences to his family and announced to provide jobs to his two brothers, Pak Tribune reports.

Later, he visited the area and inquired from the locals about the law and order situation after surgical operations in selected areas of Karachi, the report said.

When he saw a plastic gun in the hands of a child, Malik asked him to break it since children should not play with toy guns, the report added.

He gave the child 25,000 rupees in cash when he broke his gun into two pieces, the report said.
