Peshawar: Pakistani police have
apprehended 28 people, including three members of a banned
group during a search operation in the country`s northwest
on Wednesday, officials said.
A team comprising special police commandoes and
members of the anti-terror Elite Force conducted the search
operation in the suburbs of Kohat district and arrested three
members of a banned group, including an Afghan national.
Another 25 suspects were apprehended from six villages
of the district.
Police recovered seven Kalashnikovs, seven rifles, six
shotguns, 14 pistols, 1875 bullets and seven kilograms of
cannabis from the arrested persons.
