Islamabad: A total of 35 Afghan refugee children were Thursday deported to their country after they were recovered a few days earlier in Pakistan, a media report said.
The children -- aged between 10 and 16 years -- were found at a madrassa on the outskirts of Gujranwala in Punjab province, the Online news agency reported.
Punjab government officials handed over the children to the Federally Administrative Tribal Areas (FATA) who handed them to their Afghan counterparts at the Turkham border.
