Lahore: A renowned social worker in Pakistan has said drug addiction among college and university going girls is a serious threat to society, and parents should keep a check on pocket money and bad company of their children.
Bilquis Edhi, wife of philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi, said people could overcome their problems by adopting simplicity and the golden principles of Islam, reports the Daily Times.
She also criticised the increasing trend of mobile phone usage among teenage girls, saying that mobile phones are misleading young girls, and that the gadget was like a harmful germ infecting the young generation.
