Colombo: A four-member Pakistan Navy delegation arrived here on Tuesday on a six-day visit, aimed at enhancing bilateral military cooperation.
The visit by the Pakistani delegation headed by Commodore Mehboob Elahi is aimed at sharing experiences and developing anti-terrorism strategy, Pakistan High Commission said.
The visit is a follow up of the staff-level talks initiated between the two countries in September last year, when a high-powered defence delegation from Pakistan visited Sri Lanka for the first ever such interaction between the two militaries.
The earlier talks had covered a wide range of issues relating to Army, Navy and Air Force of the two countries.
