Pakistan PM meets family of child prodigy who died Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met the family of Arfa Karim, who in 2004 became the world's youngest Microsoft certified professional at age nine. She died on January 14.

Gilani met the child prodigy's parents on Sunday in Lahore to condole her death.

Arfa Karim Randhawa died following complications resulting from an epileptic stroke. She was 16.

The Prime Minister said he and his family had been in telephonic contact with Arfa's family but, unfortunately, she lost the battle of life, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.

Arfa's father Lt Col (Retd) Amjad Karim Randhawa told the Prime Minister that they had already formed the Arfa Karim Foundation in his daughter's memory.
