Pakistani scribe Mehr Tarar sparks row over Kashmir

A Pakistani journalist, who was accused of having an affair with Minister of State Shashi Tharoor, kicked up a row on Wednesday for her remarks on Kashmir.

New Delhi: A Pakistani journalist, who was accused of having an affair with Minister of State Shashi Tharoor, kicked up a row on Wednesday for her remarks on Kashmir.

On microblogging website Twitter, Mehr Tarar said:

Tarar added that she always raked up human rights violations in Kashmir and even questioned Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah regarding this....”But today what matters 2 me more is #Pakistan NOT Kashmir (sic)”
Tarar was in news in India lately when she exchanged some messages on Twitter with Tharoor`s wife Sunanda Pushkar before her mysterious death.

Pushkar had accused Tarar of pursuing her husband and threatened to divorce Shashi Tharoor. The journalist had denied the allegation, and publicly trashed Pushkar.

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a New Delhi`s hotel room on January 17.
