Pakistanis arrested in Gaza flotilla return home Islamabad: Three Pakistanis detained in Israel's attack on the Gaza aid flotilla earlier this week arrived home on Thursday, as Pakistan's legislature passed resolutions condemning Israel for the deadly assault.

"I am really happy that they have reached home safely," Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik told private TV channel AJJ.

The three Pakistanis included an anchorman for a private TV channel, a producer and an aid worker, Pakistani media reported.

Earlier, both Pakistan's upper and lower houses unanimously condemned the attack on the flotilla, describing Israel's action as "brutal and inhuman”.

Pakistan and Israel do not have diplomatic relations.

Israeli naval forces on Monday stormed the aid flotilla in international waters before dawn, killing up to nine pro-Palestinian activists.

The bloody end to a high-profile mission to deliver supplies to the besieged Gaza Strip plunged Israel into a diplomatic crisis on the eve of talks between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel blamed passengers for initiating the violence, but activists on board the flotilla's ships accused Israeli commandos of starting to shoot as soon as they boarded.
