Prabhakaran son’s `execution footage` out

Colombo: In a shocking video telecast on UK’s Channel 4, slain Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran’s son is shown dead with five bullet holes in his chest.

The May 18, 2009 footage of the 12-year-old was screened at the FIFDH film festival in Geneva on Sunday night and is expected to be aired by Channel 4 on Wednesday at 10.55 pm (04.25 IST Thursday).

According to reports, the Channel 4's shocking new video is said to be a 'trophy video' shot by Sri Lankan troops which were present during the cold-blooded execution of the Prabhakaran’s family.

In the meantime, the Sri Lankan High Commission in London has reportedly "categorically rejected the malicious allegations" of the 60-minute documentary titled 'Sri Lanka's Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished'.

The footage will embarrass the Sri Lankan delegation at the UNHRC session.

Last year, Channel 4 showed a documentary titled Sri Lanka's Killing Fields that highlighted executions of LTTE cadre.

I totally agree with Suresh kumar that when the LTTE was killing the innocent people where was then all the human rights commission and where was the law the bastard prabhakaran had killed many innocent people so it is fair by the srilankan army to give the final touch bravo srilankan army hope one day the indian leader learn the lesson how to control the admininstration and can save india by the pakistani and chinese terrorist.

Mr lalchand Riaz is absolutely correct. prabhakaran killed so many lankans including tamil srilanks.U know i have lot of srilanksn frindis including tamil shihalees, they r telling , he used us like human shield for his own growth , many innocent tamil people killed by pharbhakarn and his tigers, he never given chance to study scool , now what srilankan govt did is 100 percent right, india also shuld be follow the same way to solve kashmir issue and arunachal issue

you are just a stupid, commenting by having incomplete history and hated minded. it may be agreed that many innocent lives were lost by LTTE . but, this young child of just 12 years could not be a terrorist as well. if respective video footage is genuine then the respective soldiers of sri lankan army could be termed as terrorist . if u think its not , then asking yourself that what grade will appoint to those who eliminate anyone who is totally unarmed and harmless. yes , i agree that the philosophy of v.prabhakaran is not socially accepted but what done here in video is also cannot be accepted. it is purely concern of war crimes. this matter should be raised in UN and the respective soldiers should be bring under trial..........................

daily srilankan navy and srilankan fishermens are troubling indian fishermen from tamilnadu..they killed lakhs of tamil people in srilanka..their origin is india mind it...u supporting a sinhalee shows how patriotic you are?several fishermens from tamilnadu killed recently by srilankan navy..i am a hardcore american hater but in this case i support them blindly because someone should tie a bell to the cat and america is doing that..indian govt barely sitting duck and watching its a utter shame to all indians...being an indian support to our natives..dont utter the words before you know the history..just watch the channel 4 videos for samples...if you want to know more i can give u in detail...

I totally agree here with Riaz and Nagraj. Remember any body who is supports crime is an equal partner in the attrocities. how somebody talks about Laden did you forgot how they murdered ``Daniel Pearl`` and a lot of atttacks where Laden was backing. Did laden`t family stood up agains him and stopped him in doing so, if not then they too are similarly responsible. And I bet you give Laden`t any of the son or daughter a gun and say him this was the person who shot your father and kill him, they will definitely do it.

Your post exhibits ignorance about the geo political realities of Southern India. It is a highly inhuman act for the sri lankan army to indulge in this kind of behavior. Lemme ask you one thing, by your logic all of Bin Laden`s family must be killed - and what about the terrorists operating in Kashmir? Not just Afzal guru but his entire family should be sent to the galows, but that isn`t right why should the entire family suffer owing to the mistakes of one man. Spare innocent children at least. What do you think a boy of twelve years would have known. I do not agree with American methods of conducting a war, but i feel they were decidedly more human than the Sri Lankan army. However, i would like to emphasize that the actions of the political and military establishment of Sri Lanka does not reflect popular public opinion. Racist propaganda was the cause for all this. Bandaranaike`s exploitation for political gain has opened a festering wound that might take years to reconcile. Sri Lankan army and the community at large has been particularly hostile to Tamil CHristians and Hindus, not many seem to mention this, only gives credence to the old saying `` Might is always right``, the genuine aspirations of a minority have been drowned and stamped out brutally by a chauvinistic majority.

LTTE is a Terrorist Organization which killed innocent civilians in Srilanka and Killed our PM Rajiv Gandhi.What the Srilankan soldiers have done to Prabhakaran family is very good.When LTTE killed innocent civilians did they think about it.We have to thank Srilankan Army for eradicating LTTE.BRAVO BRAVO Srilankan Soldiers.
