Prabhakaran son’s `execution footage` out

Colombo: In a shocking video telecast on UK’s Channel 4, slain Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran’s son is shown dead with five bullet holes in his chest.

The May 18, 2009 footage of the 12-year-old was screened at the FIFDH film festival in Geneva on Sunday night and is expected to be aired by Channel 4 on Wednesday at 10.55 pm (04.25 IST Thursday).

According to reports, the Channel 4's shocking new video is said to be a 'trophy video' shot by Sri Lankan troops which were present during the cold-blooded execution of the Prabhakaran’s family.

In the meantime, the Sri Lankan High Commission in London has reportedly "categorically rejected the malicious allegations" of the 60-minute documentary titled 'Sri Lanka's Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished'.

The footage will embarrass the Sri Lankan delegation at the UNHRC session.

Last year, Channel 4 showed a documentary titled Sri Lanka's Killing Fields that highlighted executions of LTTE cadre.

though i do not support the cruelty inflicted by army..but point is..it was necessary for them to take action against LTTE..bcause they were hindrance to socio economic progress..humanatarian always shout when govt takes action but never`ll say anythin when terrorists committ crime.. I wish India`ll take same action against Maoist..

Please dont support Srilankan army or Chinese army.To have contro over Chennai and Vizag Harbours,China put up a military base in Jaffna region.Since LTTE are Tamils and having link with Tamilnadu...China considered them nuisance in long term.Thats how China helped Srilankan army to wipe out Tamil blood there.This young kid`s murder is atrocious.Rascals.....Let India vote against Srilanka in UN.

Readers are posting how much sad they are to see a 12 year old boy killed by srilankan soldiers.But have they ever seen how the LTTE suicide bombers killed children and women in the name of freedom.Just going into crowded places and blowing themselves up,killing innocents.Where were these so called readers at that time.Imagine if your Blood is killed like that will you keep quiet.LTTE should have fought the Army but should not have killed innocent civilians for 20 years.What the srilankan soldiers have done is realy great.When the readers are telling go back to history to see what the Lankans did ,Lankans have also gone back to history to see how their near and dear ones were killed mindlessly by LTTE and showed no remorse.BRAVO,BRAVO LTTE

Where????? In Sri Lanka, It is a dream , never happened in Sri Lanka, But might be in India if the people like you are living in Tamil nadu. Dear friend looked back at history, how many sri lanka children hacked to death by so LTTE, sinhala, tamil, muslim brothers were killed. Not that who killed your beloved PM , Rajiv Ghandhi. india have to change policies often...if india supported eelam formation in 2000 it would result in clearance of all tamil problems..then eelam is a control point for india to maintain lanka...due to false foreign policies we left tamils in disturbance and srilanka put plans to set chinese naval base and now indian ocean`s control left to china slowly...

LTTE is a Terrorist Organization which killed innocent civilians in Srilanka and Killed our PM Rajiv Gandhi.What the Srilankan soldiers have done to Prabhakaran family is very good.When LTTE killed innocent civilians did they think about it.We have to thank Srilankan Army for eradicating LTTE.BRAVO BRAVO Srilankan Soldiers.
