President Yadav hands over low cost houses to the poor

Low cost houses built by a non-governmental organization were handed over to the poor and deprived people by Nepal`s President Dr Ram Baran Yadav.

Kathmandu: Low cost houses built by a
non-governmental organization were handed over to the poor and
deprived people by Nepal`s President Dr Ram Baran Yadav.

These low cost houses are built by Shelter for the
Humanity in Nepal`s Kaski district with the assistance of
people from 14 different countries besides Nepal.

The president handed over the keys of the houses to the
local people amidst a function held in Lekhnath Municipality
today.
These houses were built on the land belonging to local
people with the assistance of the non-governmental
organization.
The organization has so far constructed 7,000 low cost
houses for the poor and destitute people across the country.
