Six journalists detained, freed in Pakistan

Islamabad: Two French and four Pakistani journalists were detained in Pakistan`s Abbottabad city, where Osama bin Laden was killed in May, and later released.

The French journalists were identified as Oliver Joulie and Noemine Karine. They were detained Wednesday near the Ayub Medical College after they tried to make a video footage of the area, police said.
Dawn said the French journalists did not have permission to visit Abbottabad.
