Pakistani security forces on Saturday shelled terrorist hideouts in the country`s restive northwestern Kurram tribal region, killing at least six militants.

The militant positions in the heart of Kurram tribal
agency were targeted with artillery, officials said.

They said the attack left at least six militants dead.
Two hideouts were also destroyed in the shelling, the
officials said.
