Kathmandu: At least 90 people displaced by
floods in southern Nepal`s Sunsari district are suspected to
be infected with swine flu.
After conducting a preliminary health check up, symptoms
of swine flu has been found, according to Dr Dayashanker Lal,
Karna District Health Chief, reports government run
Gorkhapatra daily.
About 30 displaced families were affected by flu and they
have been showing symptoms like cough, cold and headache
similar to swine flu patients, he said adding that the
district health post will send their cough samples to the
capital for further tests.
