Lahore: Five-year-old Eisha wants to go home as soon as possible to take a ride on her bicycle but doctors say it will take her some time to fully recover from the burns she sustained in a twin suicide bombing at a crowded market in this eastern Pakistani city.

Eisha has been pressing her father to take her home since she regained consciousness in the emergency ward of Jinnah Hospital, where she was brought after last night's devastating terrorist attack that killed 54 and injured 180 others.

"I don't want to stay here. I want to go home immediately where my playmates are waiting for me with my bicycle," Eisha told PTI as she lay in a bed at the hospital with her anxious relatives surrounding her.

The nursery student was unable to understand her father's reluctance to even give her some chocolate. "Instead, Baba is asking me to swallow bitter syrups and tablets," she said angrily.

"You can have chocolate from me," a doctor offered. "No, I always take chocolates from my father," Eisha responded.

Eisha was in Moon Market with her aunt and three cousins when the two powerful blasts occurred.

The explosions triggered a massive blaze that reduced about 150 shops to ashes.
