Two kidnapped judges in Pak rescued

Two judges, who were kidnapped from the restive Balochistan province in Pakistan 10 days ago, were rescued on Tuesday.

Islamabad: Two judges, who were kidnapped
from the restive Balochistan province in Pakistan 10 days ago,
were rescued on Tuesday.

The judges were rescued from the Nasirabad district of
Balochistan in northwest Pakistan after a late night
operation.
Sessions Judge Jan Mohammad Gohar Yasinzai and Civil
Judge Mohammad Ali Kakar were going to Usta Mohammad in a
private car to attend a wedding, when a group of armed men had
intercepted and whisked them away in Jafferabad district.
Commissioner Nasirabad Haider Ali Shikoh said the
police had recovered them in a late night rescue operation and
had arrested 14 people suspected of involvement in the
kidnapping, while further investigations are underway, the
Express Tribune reported.
