Peshawar: Two policemen were injured when
pro-Taliban militants targeted an armoured personnel carrier
near this northwestern Pakistani city on Friday.
The police vehicle was attacked at Mattani while it
was on a routine patrol, officials said.
The militants targeted the vehicle with heavy weapons
and escaped from the spot when police returned fire, they
said.
Two policemen were injured in the attack.
