Islamabad: A US drone targeted a vehicle
in Pakistan's restive North Waziristan tribal region on Wednesday,
killing four suspected militants.
The CIA-operated spy plane carried out the attack in
Mirahshah area of North Waziristan Agency.
The drone fired two missiles at the vehicle, officials
were quoted as saying by TV news channels.
The attack came a day after another drone strike in
South Waziristan Agency killed five alleged militants.
Yesterday's attack was the first one since July 12.
South and North Waziristan are among the seven
autonomous regions in Pakistan's volatile tribal belt
bordering Afghanistan.
