New Delhi: The US has replaced India as Pakistan’s Enemy No 1, a Pakistan Gallup survey has revealed.
The survey, commissioned by Qatar-based Al Jazeera English, was conducted in the last week of July with 2,662 people participating in it.
As per the Pakistan-wide from rural and urban areas in the four provinces of Punjab, only 18 percent of Pakistanis deem India as their main foe, while 59 percent believe the US is their biggest adversary.
Notably, a Gallup survey conducted around 2004 had revealed that 72 percent Pakistanis thought India to be their main enemy.
According to the agency that conducted the survey, the error margin in face-to-face survey is plus-minus 2-3 percent.
The sentiments of Pakistanis towards the US are likely due to infamous CIA drone attacks.
