Shakargarh: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that war is not a solution to disputes, and all issues can be only resolved through dialogue.
Addressing a public meeting at Shakargarh in Punjab province, he said Pakistan wants to have good relations with its neighbours.
He said he has met Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh many times and convinced him that all bilateral issues, including Kashmir, could be resolved through dialogue and not through war.
"Pakistan wants a permanent and lasting solution to the Kashmir issue through dialogue and negotiations,” the News quoted Gilani, as saying.
He said Pakistan would convince the international community that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to aspirations of Kashmiris.
Gilani expressed the hope that the world would help the Kashmiris get their rights.
