Bengaluru: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch three Disaster Monitoring Constellation satellites for a United Kingdom firm next month.
The satellites named DMC 1, 2 and 3, would be launched on July 10 onboard a PSLV from the first launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, according to ISRO.
This time, ISRO is launching the satellites for the UK-based Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL). As a senior ISRO official, the launch window has already been worked out.
Talking about Mangalyaan, which is India's first interplanetary mission and is now going through a blackout phase, ISRO said the spacecraft is in autonomous mode from June 8, 2015 and will return to normal mode on June 22, 2015.
