Thiruvananthapuram: K M Nair today took over as the Chief Controller of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), an important centre of ISRO here.
Nair had been officiating as the Controller of VSSC for the last four years, an official release said.
An officer of Indian Revenue Service of 1980 batch, Nair was recepient of the Finance Minister's Medal for combating tax evasion and smuggling and the Presidential Medal for Distinguished Service in 1996.
