US space agency has invited space aficionados and well wishers to send season’s greetings to the two NASA astronauts onboard the International Space Station.

New Delhi: US space agency has invited space aficionados and well wishers to send season’s greetings to the two NASA astronauts onboard the International Space Station.

Flight engineers Michael Hopkins and Rick Mastracchio are part of the Expedition 37/38 and Expedition 38/39 respectively.

While Mastracchio reached the ISS on November 6, 2013, Hopkins has been up there since September 25, 2013.

They will be spending the holidays in space along with four other astronauts, ISS Commander Koichi Wakata from Japan, Mikhail Tyurin, Sergey Ryazanskiy and Oleg Kotov from Russia.
