London: Five circular discs of light emerged from behind a cloud in broad daylight in London, flew for some time and then dashed back where they came from, according to a video posted on YouTube.
The unidentified bright lights were seen over Great Portland Street in west London, The Sun reported.
A crowd gathered to watch the spectacle and film it on their mobile phones.
A much larger glowing disc later emerged from behind the same cloud. It hovered slowly and vanished back behind the cloud as the other small lights.
The bigger light returned to view for a second time before finally disappearing.
The video`s author wrote on YouTube: "...managed to get these critters on camera on a clear day, and even get a close-up. It seems to be attracting quite a crowd now when they appear. Can anyone explain what on earth these lights are please?"
Beneath a similar video is written: "Been seeing these odd lights over Central London (BBC Radio 1 building) randomly for the past week. Managed to get them on camera yesterday evening."
