Ahmedabad: Milestones just don’t seem to stop coming where Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is concerned.

Barely had the dust settled on the euphoria which engulfed him when he completed 17000 runs in ODIs two weeks ago, the Mumbai Maestro gave another reason of celebration to his huge legions of fans when he completed two decades of top flight international cricket.

Now, in his first match in his 21st year as an international cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar made it an occasion to remember as he became first ever cricketer to complete 30000 runs on the world stage.

Needing 34 runs to reach 30000 runs before this innings, Tendulkar achieved this milestone on the fifth day of the first Test at Ahmedabad against Sri Lanka when he clipped Welegedara to deep square leg for an easy single

Tendulkar, with 17178 ODI runs and 12 822* Test runs, also has 87 international centuries (42 in Tests and 45 in ODIs) to his name, which again is the highest for any cricketer.

even if sachin wouldnt have supported the players would speak lots of praises abt him provided his god like image.So we r loosing it means the problem is inside not outside.I clearly beleive that groupings mars lack of motivation in the team,nd it is quite obvious when sachin remains quite when jealous grouping happen like sehwag nd yuvi envying dhoni and sachin remaing quite

To Rishi:-wat support you want frm Sachin on field.You want him to bat for others.FYI,players have said how Sachin helped them during match.If the team does not win inspite of his 100,plz think how badly it wud have lost without it

runs and centuries doesnt deserved to be made pickles .they are meant to come when required.I feel that sachin could not bring even a single world cup in 20 yrs,further sachin is not a team player,when he performs often others are unable to perform,mostly bcz of non support from sachin.it is often a case when sachin performs others doesnt perform.So these records should bring results we dont want to hear that india lossed even sachin scored a century
