New Delhi: Ace Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh set the tone for the home series against South Africa by saying that they (Indians) are ready to take on the South Africans, the current number two Test side of the world.
Predicting the series as a tough one, Harbhajan Singh said that India are a very good side and can beat any team of the world.
“When two good teams play each other, it is always going to be difficult but India have the potential and capability of beating any good team in the world”, said the pugnacious spinner.
“We just need to play to our potential to beat the South Africans,” said Harbhajan.
When asked to react on South African captain Graeme Smith’s statement that Proteas will beat India, the controversial off-spinner said, “We will see who gets whom on field.”
Though he said that they respect every opposition, Bhajji suddenly threw a challenge to the South African team to regain their number spot by beating India, the current number one in Tests.
Commenting on his side’s strength he said that their strength is their depth in every department.
